For your little moment of courage back there

To not just stand up for yourself, but for thousands of others

For making centuries huge patriarchy look down in shame,

And shut scapegoating and sentimentalization of women's oppression out of frame

For blowing the 'supposedly progressive and supportive'

Cover off these chauvinistic disappointments

And slapping their misogynistic comments 

For striving against gender stereotyping and cultural indoctrination

And giving your hand for cultural cleansing in deeper held social behaviors

For not letting the fear of being blamed stop you from standing tall

And encouraging all,

To be fearless and speak, coz that's the only way we'll be seen 

May your tribe grow and ace,

It's people like you this world needs to be a better place.
